The start and finish area for both runs are located off Highbridge Street at the Showground entrance.

The 10km route follows Horsemill Stream northwards, passing Hooks Marsh Lake and Seventy Acres Lake. At Fishers Green, the route crosses bears west and travels into the Park, crossing the Old River Lea and heading towards Turnford Brook north of Nightingale Wood. Following the pathway south, the route turns to the east between the North Metropolitan Pit and Cheshunt Lake, before turning south along the towpath to Pindar car park. Following the west pathway out of the car park, the route proceeds south alongside Bowyers Water, turning east back into the Showground site.

The registration fee for the 10K is £10.00 if pre-registered, £15.00 on the day

Minimum age to race is 16

A warm up with all 10km runners with take place in the starting area at 9.55am.
The warm up for all fun runners will take place in the starting area at 10.40am

Results

Finishers in the 10K event will have their times and positions recorded and these will be available on the day.

The organisers would like to remind you that you have entered this event entirely at your own risk and they will in no way be responsible for any injury or loss of property either before, during or after the event. Please dogs and cyclists are not permitted in these events.

By car

From junction 26 of the M25 follow the A121 towards Waltham Abbey.

 

Straight over each roundabout.

 

At T-junction (McDonalds on left) turn left towards Waltham Cross along Highbridge Street. The entrance is on the right shortly after crossing the river.

 

A designated event car park is situated on the left hand side.

 

 

 

From junction 25 of the M25, join the A10 towards Hertford.

 

At the first roundabout turn right onto the B198 for Waltham Cross.

 

Turn right at the next and left at a further roundabout to join Eleanor Cross Road for 1 mile, The entrance is on your left.

 

A designated event car park is situated on the left hand side.
